But who, proverbially, nailed our collective heads to the floor? Why are we no more, and how can we recover the gift of life if that is at all possible?

What is our purpose on this Earth? It is clearly very different to what it was before we got shot but rather than exploring that venue we prefer to accept that we are an extinct species. Why does our compass always point downwards?

Has our role really been usurped by everybody else on this planet? Has the world indeed been flattened to such an extent that nobody needs our advice any more and they can happily  speak whatever they want and act however they choose without a guiding hand to control them.

Is it all downhill from now on for the helpless spin doctor? Unable to manipulate public opinion, what is left for us on the platter of material treasures? Should we just wait to sink beneath the sea? Has the horizontal world got nothing to offer us vertical masters of communication?

How can we reach our audiences? Who are our audiences? Do we even know who influences people’s minds nowadays, let along be capable of selling our know how to our clients? Is it possible to discover latitude and longitude in the chaotic world of Internet or should we just risk exploring like Christopher Columbus, in the hope of accidentally bumping into the solution as if entirely by accident.

Besides, is it worth asking these questions if we are, in fact, demised?

I don’t know the answer. But, in any case, I am asking the questions.
